For every order via Internet, you must provide complete and accurate information during the ordering procedure. The information requested shall include: title, first name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, delivery, invoicing address and few other important details.
At the end of the ordering procedure, you are invited to click on "Pay now". When clicking on the "Pay now" button, you will be asked to accept these Terms of Sale and Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy of the Centerpiece.in website in full.
Your transaction will be processed after a payment method is selected by you through our respective payment gateway partner. Your payment is then authenticated and secured thanks to the 3D Secure system (via "Verified by Visa®" or "MasterCard® SecureCode™"). An authentication window is displayed asking you to key in personal information in order to finalize your transaction. For more information concerning the 3D Secure payment procedure, please refer to the next paragraph "Price & Payment".
When finished, your order is transmitted to CENTERPIECE for processing. You may only modify or cancel your order by contacting us through e-mail at customer-service@centerpiece.in within 12 hours of placing the order.
CENTERPIECE, reserves the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom it has a dispute concerning a prior order, or if CENTERPIECE has reasonable cause to suspect that such customer has violated the Terms of Sale or Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy mentioned on the Centerpiece.in website, or is engaged in any fraudulent or criminal activity or on any other legitimate grounds.
You will receive an order summary by e-mail. The acknowledgement of receipt shall mention the description of the products selected; the quantity, the price and the shipping cost. You can create an account in order to save your invoicing and delivery information for future orders. You will be asked to create your own password for subsequent use of the account.
Under your own liability, you shall keep your sign in/login information confidential and never communicate it to third parties. Any data recorded by the Centerpiece.in website will establish proof of transactions operated between CENTERPIECE and its customers. In the event of a dispute between CENTERPIECE and one of its customers about a transaction made on the Centerpiece.in website, the data recorded by CENTERPIECE will be considered as irrefutable proof of the content of the transaction.
The prices of products offered for sale on the Centerpiece.in website are in INR, inclusive of local taxes for customers with domestic shipping address i.e. those located in India and alternatively, in US Dollar, GBP or Euro, inclusive of local taxes, for customers with International shipping address i.e. those located outside of the Indian Territory. The final amount of your order includes the shipping cost in accordance with your shipping address (see "Delivery Zone").
Please note that certain taxes, Octroi and custom duties may be applicable on the ordered products depending upon the category of product and/or the location of the customer which would be payable by the customer at the time of delivery of the product.
CENTERPIECE reserves the rights to amend at any time and without any previous notice the prices of the products on the Centerpiece.in website. The invoicing of the products is based on a price list posted on the Centerpiece.in website at the time of the order, subject to the availability of the products ordered at this time. Any order placed on the Centerpiece.in website has to be paid for immediately at the time of ordering. All orders are payable in INR by Domestic customers and US Dollar or Euro by International customers.
We currently accept payment by credit card and debit card through payment gateway partner ICICI PAYSEAL which accepts payment by MasterCard®, Maestro® and Visa® Cards. Payments by Visa®, MasterCard® and Maestro® are authenticated and secured thanks to the 3D secure system. This device is also known under the names of "Verified by Visa®" or "MasterCard® SecureCode™". During payment, the bank asks the Internet user personal information to check the identity of the card holder and to validate the transaction. Once the 3D Secure code is keyed in and validated by your bank, your order is finalized. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail.
Authentication is peculiar to each bank. For any questions concerning your 3D Secure code, please contact your bank directly. Your order will be dispatched once your payment has cleared. Your debit or credit card will have been debited/ charged by the time the goods are dispatched. Please carefully read the section “Availability" for information on unavailability of ordered items.
The products ordered remain the property of CENTERPIECE as legal and equitable owner and no property in or title to the ordered products shall pass to the customer until full payment for the products has been received by CENTERPIECE. Delivery is deemed complete and title to the products passes to you upon acceptance of shipment by the carrier.
CENTERPIECE ships its products to Domestic and International customers through selected courier service FedEx and other leading shipping partners. You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the delivery of the products you purchase on the Centerpiece.in website as specified on your order confirmation.
Shipping costs are calculated either on the basis of the categories of the selected products, or on the total value of your order, as well as your delivery address.
Goods purchased via the Centerpiece.in website may be delivered within India and most other countries. CENTERPIECE will not process any order for which a post office box is provided. Goods will be shipped to the delivery address specified during ordering. The order will not be processed if the delivery address is not serviced by our shipping partner. We will not accept orders whose ultimate destination is a country which is embargoed by the Government of India.
During the ordering procedure, we will inform you of the time required for delivery of the goods purchased. The delivery time may exceed the usual time period depending upon the location and address of the user. You shall have to pay the shipping cost in addition to the price of the products purchased.
The orders shall be shipped in one lot. Availability on some products may be limited due to high demand and some orders may be delayed. In such an event, we request you to bear with us until your order is shipped and delivered.
However, CENTERPIECE reserves the right to divide your order into several shipments. The shipping costs shall only be charged for a single shipment in accordance with the information contained in your order summary.
You may track your order on the Centerpiece.in website by providing necessary details to know the exact status of your order. You may also send in your enquiry through e-mail at customer-service@centerpiece.in.
CENTERPIECE shall endeavour but not guarantee to deliver the products to its customer within the estimated time of delivery specified for each product on the Centerpiece.in website. Delivery may also be delayed by external factors such as transporter's strike. If the delivery is delayed by such third party delays or external factor, you agree to not raise any dispute against CENTERPIECE.
A failure to deliver or late delivery of the goods exceeding number of business days specified should be reported to us as soon as possible for us to take the required action. Please notify us of the delay within a maximum of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of confirmation of your order.
You should check that your shipment is correct on delivery. If there are any discrepancies or problems with your order when the products are delivered to you, you should note the nature of the discrepancy or problem (e.g., wrong product, open package, damaged goods, etc.) on the delivery note and sign it. You should then contact us by e-mail at customer-service@centerpiece.in. Please read the terms and conditions contained in the section entitled "Returns - Exchange - Refunds".
If you fail to receive an item shipped on account of providing inadequate or inaccurate delivery address or due to your non-availability at the address provided or failure to make requisite payment at the time of delivery in the case of extra taxes or custom duties, the order will be cancelled and the product will be returned to CENTERPIECE. Further, we would be entitled to recover reasonable compensation for services provided and costs incurred for shipping, handling, couriering, processing the order and/or the product and any other services provided to you with respect to your order. CENTERPIECE shall refund the entire amount of the order (excluding taxes and compensation) within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of non-delivery of the item.
CENTERPIECE will not be responsible or liable if any item you ordered on the Centerpiece.in website is lost, misdirected or delivered late insofar as you have to bear the risks of the shipping.
CENTERPIECE shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
CENTERPIECE does not currently exchange or allow refunds for goods purchased on the Centerpiece.in website. All products ordered on the Centerpiece.in website are customized or fabricated on your request/order and, therefore, cannot be returned for exchange or refund. Each order transacted on the centerpiece.in website will be deemed as final sale.
However, in the case where you have received a product not ordered by you, you may return it for exchange or refund. Please check the package content details, mentioned on each package, at the time of delivery to verify your order. Returned products must be in their original condition and packaging, together with a copy of the original purchase invoice.
In order to do this, you must return the product to us via our carrier. You must contact us at customer-service@centerpiece.in and place your request within 12 hours from the delivery time, which would receive our immediate attention. Return shipping cost may be charged where applicable. In the case of an exchange, we would ship your order at no extra cost payable by you after verification of your actual requirement. In case you request for a refund, CENTERPIECE shall refund the entire amount of the order (excluding taxes) within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of such a request. If you do not claim a refund within the time stated herein, you shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount.
If you choose to cancel your order, you may do so within 12 hours of placing an order on the Centerpiece.in website and you will be immediately refunded if your debit or credit card has been debited or charged.
The request for cancellation shall be sent through e-mail at customer-service@centerpiece.in. This shall contain details provided at the time of ordering - your name, address; contact number and details of the ordered product. We would then inspect the status of your order and take steps for cancellation of the same. Please note that CENTERPIECE would not cancel any order if the product is shipped prior to receiving such a request.
CENTERPIECE reserves the right to cancel an order placed on the Centerpiece.in website due to any unavoidable circumstance. Upon cancellation, we shall refund the entire order amount to the customer within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of such a cancellation.
CENTERPIECE shall not be liable to you or any third party for any damage of any kind, including by way of non-exhaustive example, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, including, without limitation, loss of profits or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Centerpiece.in website, or from the customers having relied on the information contained on this website or from errors, breaks in service, cancellations, degradation or corruption of files or e-mails, software errors, viruses or defects, delays in functioning or transmission, lack of communication, theft, the destruction of, or unauthorised access to the Centerpiece.in website’s data, programmes or services or any other circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms of Sale shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of CENTERPIECE to you for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence of CENTERPIECE or that of its employees or agents, breach of terms regarding title implied under the applicable Consumer Protection laws or any other liability which the applicable laws state may not be excluded or limited.
Any customer making an online purchase on the Centerpiece.in website agrees to defend, indemnify and hold CENTERPIECE, its affiliates and any of its directors, employees, advisors, agents or sponsors harmless from and against any and all taxes and fees, including, without limitation, any cost, expense, attorneys' fees, interest or penalties assessed against or incurred by us as a result of the customer’s failure to pay any applicable taxes or fees.
If any provision of these Terms of Sale is determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Terms of Sale remain in full force to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and any action arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the Courts in Delhi, and no other Courts shall have jurisdiction over the same. By accessing this website, you hereby consent and submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating any such action.
